These are the system requirements for the installation of myintercom door station:
Free Ethernet/LAN-Port on Router /Switch
DHCP Server, which supplies an IP-Address, Netmask, Gateway and DNS-Server (Standard)
To ensure your network capability all MyIntercom devices require a High Speed Internet connection (Landline): DSL, Cable or Fiber, with DHCP. The connection must have a Minimum Internet Upload Speed of 0,384mbit/s or faster.
The faster the Internet, the better the image and audio quality.
Mobile devices connected via wifi should work in any case (assuming a good wifi coverage). For mobile use a 3G connection is required (min. bandwith 384kbit/s). And again: The faster the Internet, the better the image and audio quality.

You can connect the myintercom door station with Structured cabling either CAT5e or CAT6 via a network cable (RJ45 Connection), or via a HomePlug / Powerline. For reliability reasons, we generally recommend connection via a network cable. Please remember some units requires power via a 15V PSU.
